We have not had a lot of rain this spring. Not that I am complaining. I am so over rain. BUT. Some rain to wash the pollen away would be lovely. Unfortunately. All this rain did was to smudge up everything. It's all rather nasty. (This is the "puddle" that accumulates in my driveway)
Our dogwood tree is dying. Only the lower half has any leaves on it. It did bloom. But I wonder how much longer that will last. What I love about this tree is the holes in it. Which appear to be havens for lots of birds during the day. Naturally they all got camera shy when I try and capture their comings and goings.
The celebrations for Madalyn's birthday continues. We went to Red Robin for dinner. Where Madalyn pointed told our server that she was celebrating her birthday. And that she wanted a Sunday. And for them to sing to her. Except when they came. I am not sure if she was embarrassed. Or embarrassed for them.
Lots of people think they are weeds. But I just love them. I have a plant that winds around my deck. Last year it grew, but never bloomed. This year I have these buds. But no blooms yet. Even though they are choking all the trees in everyone else's yard. I wonder if we will move beyond these pods??
I have always loved photography. But truly. I have no idea as to what I am doing. I have the big girl camera. Lots of lenses. Photoshop. All the tools and none of the knowledge. It's a dangerous combination!
